How Long Does Website Design Take? How Much Does it Cost?
Most of our interactions can be accomplished via email and phone, so there is no need for time-consuming meetings or travel. If your business is in the Salem, Oregon area, we'd be delighted to come to your place of business or meet at a coffee shop and initially discuss your website design project in person, if you prefer that over a phone conversation. After that first in-person or phone meeting, most everything can be done efficiently through e-mail.
After we discuss your website design project, a written proposal will be provided based on your objectives. The proposal outlines the scope of the project, strategy and timeline for project completion, and costs. That way there are no surprises. As soon as you accept the proposal and provide documents, photographs, or other content you wish to include on your website, the project gets started right away. Most website design can be completed in 10 days as long as you commit to providing feedback and information in a timely manner. During the design process, your website will be search engine optimized so it can be found by local customers searching for your keywords and phrases. At completion, your site is submitted to 75 search engines at no extra cost!

- A 5-8 page website includes Home page, About Us, Contact Us or Opt-In Form, Blog, Privacy Policy, and more for a flat fee of $495. Additional pages created at an hourly rate of $50. If it is appropriate for your business to have a shopping cart or PayPal Donate button, we can assist you with setting that up as well.
- In addition to $250 of the $495 flat fee website design fee required in advance, an annual domain name registration fee of $12 also applies (if you do not already have a domain). There will also be a monthly hosting fee. Hosting fees vary depending on the type of site you need and start at $24.95 per month.
- Weekly or monthly support services are available at an additional cost and depend on the help you need with ghostblogging, backlinking, business directory submission, social media, ongoing SEO support, etc.
- If you're a start-up business and don't have a lot of cash up front, or don't feel your business can benefit from customized web design services, you can RENT a website for $24.95 per month. Think of it as a cyber billboard that's been SEO optimized at the onset with your keywords and customized with your contact information and logo for a flat fee of $150, plus domain name registration of $12 per year if you do not already own a domain name. No contracts— rent for just a few months (ideal for special events or one-time fundraisers) or month-by-month indefinitely— your choice.
Register a Domain Name
If you need a recommendation as to where to register your domain name (or we can do it for you) Go Daddy offers EXCELLENT customer service, via e-mail and phone. We've registered over 70 domain names through GoDaddy.com and never paid more than $12 (many times it was only 89 cents!). We've also transferred domain names to them from other companies that have not provided good service or value.
